Pop Up Studio with Yannick Lowery

5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. EST

Join visual artist Yannick Lowery for a collage activity inspired by images of Black history and the closing of The Time Is Always Now: Artists Reframe the Black Figure. Participants will assemble collages to create their own unique compositions.

Materials provided. No experience necessary, all ages welcome.

About the Artist:
Yannick Lowery is an interdisciplinary artist currently residing and working in Philadelphia. Originally from New York City, he embraces both cities as cultural and creative influences, drawing on their rich and diverse visual art histories to fuel his practice. Using archival imagery and his own photography, Lowery engages in world-building through collage, animation, and sculptural pieces, creating thought-provoking and exploratory works.

This event is part of our Black History Month Celebration on February 7.
